Product Marketing Manager

As Product Marketing Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Own product strategy for the Product Line
• Capture the voice of the customer, translate customer requirements into competitive product offerings and strengthen the product position in the market
• Ensure Product Line portfolio offering competitiveness and profitability,
• Be able to think out of a converter point of view, understand the converter’s business case with focus on zero fault quality, performance, cost per packaging unit and sustainability.
• Initiate and drive new innovations and development introduction
• Perform Product Lifecycle Management initiating phase in/out management from old to new product generation simplifying our offer incl. service
• Drive competition intelligence for the Product Line, including market size and market share consolidation
• Market Intelligence,
• watch and understand market dynamics – from competition, converters, final products and brands
• Drive Marketing and Communication content
• Support Sales force ensuring all product related information and documentation are up to date
• Ensure Customers satisfaction
• Ensure alignment of functions together with Product Line steering team

Your experience and profile:

• You have an engineering background, together with sound marketing experience with preferably 10-15 years of proven track record within the packaging, carton or printing industry, or a similar function in an industrial environment (machines’ industry or similar).
• Proven experience in driving and implementing various projects simultaneously.

• You speak English and French.
• You are open to travel.

• You are self-confident and trustworthy personality with intercultural affinity.
• You are a good communicator and you strongly perform in teams.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
It also trains each year roughly 200 apprentices. The site offers an idyllic work environment. In the countryside and close to major highways, it is also well served by public transport.
