Substation Electrical Specialist

Your new role

As our new Substation Specialist, you will be able to test yourself on a huge variety of tasks for many different clients while you will be the driver of developing our high voltage component and substation control areas to even higher technical levels.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for control and protection systems up to 420 kV
• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for primary circuits (electromechanical) systems up to 420 kV
• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for low voltage and weak current installations for high voltage substations up to 420 kV

• Establish processes for delivering component parameters for projects

• Deliver component related support for on- and offshore projects

• Deliver consulting and advice to our customers on choosing components, testing requirements, etc.

Your new team

You will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team of power system engineers delivering solutions for DSOs, TSOs and developers of renewable energy. We are growing significantly at the moment, and you will therefore be able to have direct influence on defining our strategy. We aim to be the preferred supplier of power system engineering consultancy services for TSOs, DSOs and renewable energy developers within a timeframe of just 2 years.

• That you hold a PhD or M.Sc. in electrical engineering degree or equivalent

• That you have expert knowledge on high voltage substation control and protection philosophies

• That you have expert knowledge on high voltage substations primary circuits (electromechanical) philosophies
• That you have expert knowledge on high voltage substations low voltage and weak current installations
• That you have expert knowledge on BIM Methodology

• That you are thriving with managing stakeholders and expanding your network

• That you like taking responsibility for our scope, i.e. are comfortable making assumptions and decisions together with our clients

• That you are eager to make a difference in the green energy transition
