THE OPPORTUNITY:

Join RIMOWA as the Senior Industrial Director overseeing global production operations. In this pivotal executive position, you'll lead our manufacturing processes and craft industrial strategies that project our legacy of functional luxury across the globe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Craft a sustainable, forward-looking vision for the industrial teams in Germany, Czech Republic, and Canada. Align this vision with interdepartmental dependencies including R&D, Product & Design Teams, and Supply Chain.
  
  
• Lead and develop international teams including Plant Managers, Global Quality, Global Engineering, PMO, Health & Safety, as well as Finance and HR support. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  
  
• Drive operational synergy across all plants to achieve peak performance. Champion productivity initiatives leading to continuous improvements within the industrial organization. Integrate innovative technologies to enhance plant efficiency and competitiveness.
  
  
• Oversee new product launches in coordination with R&D and Product Teams. Optimize supplier relationships for quality materials availability during product launches.
  
  
• Develop strategies to mitigate operational risks. Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international regulations and standards.
  
  
• Prepare production site budgets/forecasts aligned with business strategy. Monitor financials against plans to identify variances and adjust procedures accordingly (e.g., CAPEX planning, volume adjustments).
  
  
• Drive initiatives focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, and emissions reduction within industrial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

• At least 15 years of leadership experience in industrial management.
  
  
• Mastery over global operations with nuanced understanding of international markets.
  
  
• Master's in Engineering is highly valued.
