Future tasks
- You advise our customers on establishing data science solutions, taking into account our engineering and IT know-how. This involves realistic application use cases and statistical requirements, as well as data selection, recording, processing and management.
- You analyze data sets, prepare them, create statistics and visualize the results, e.g. in the area of fleet data, production data or around the simulation process.
- You design, implement and validate machine learning models with neural networks or other state-of-the-art technologies.
- You implement automation solutions in the area of big data technologies.
- Together with colleagues, you actively shape the implementation and change process for the customer.
- You constantly educate yourself, for example on current developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning or big data. With this knowledge, you generate direct customer added value for existing and new projects.
your profile
- Convincingly completed master's degree in the field of computer science, physics, mathematics or an engineering science (e.g. computational engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace), preferably with a doctorate
- Very good knowledge of a programming language such as Python, C++, C#, or Java and enjoy programming. Experience with pySpark is an advantage
- Sound understanding of at least one of the areas of data processing, statistics, (targeted) data visualization or machine learning
- Practical experience in and enthusiasm for data science
- Experience with relational databases, experience with graph databases an advantage
- Spirit of innovation, initiative and joy in learning
- Very good communication skills as well as enjoyment of constant exchange within the team and with customers, winning demeanor and a good dose of humor
- very good knowledge of English
