Designing intuitive system architectures for mobile manipulators in industrial applications
Developing solutions for grasping, object manipulation, and path planning tasks
Develop intuitive interfaces for interacting with and configuring robots
Implementing robust behaviors for operation in complex environments
Integrating sensors and sensor data for realworld applications
Creating intuitive interfaces for robot interaction and configuration
Ensuring safe humanrobot interaction
Work closely with other software engineers to integrate control, perception, and planning modules
Qualifications for the role
- Several years of experience in mobile robotics, with a focus on software development
- Sound knowledge of robotics tools, methodologies, and the industrial automation market
- Strong software skills in C++. Experience in writing Python and C# software is beneficial
- Strong theoretical and applied skills in at least one of the following fields: behavior management, path planning or motion generation for high DoF robotic systems
- Experience with system engineering, design & verification
- Experience with middleware and communication protocols (e.g. DDS, ROS, MQTT)
- Completed master's degree in a relevant field is required, ideally complemented by a PhD
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German beneficial
