Tasks:
Design and implementation of AI-based solutions for various computer vision tasks:
- Selection & evaluation of neural networks
- Training neural networks
- Curating data sets and targeted construction and expansion
- Co-design of overall system and software architectures
- Design and implementation of SW modules according to requirements
- Preparation of reports and studies in the area of research and development
- Development and implementation of internal company innovation measures
- Production and support of functional prototypes (proof-of-concept), especially in the area of AI-based computer vision
Profile:
- Completed university degree in the natural sciences or technical field (computer science, electrical engineering or comparable)
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Profound knowledge in the area of machine learning / computer vision (CNN architectures, neural networks, feature extraction, classifiers)
- Practical experience with computer vision, Python, Git/Svn and with modern machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch or Tensorflow)
- Experience with object detection, image classification or metric learning
- Confident use of C/C++, Python, OpenCV and/or Rust
- Knowledge or experience in Explainable AI and Trustworthy AI is an advantage
- Experience with SCRUM (or other agile development methods) desirable
- Ability to provide advice, high customer and service orientation and confident dealing with internal and external customers
- Willingness to undertake small business trips
- Enjoy working together in a team
- Very good knowledge of German and good English, both spoken and written
